Oh - and make sure that you keep your MC's personas up to date. There are only a handful of exceptions to this rule, so stick with it for now. Anything else (such as running it from the base again) is a waste of time, especially since chests respawn as soon as you leave a level now - so cycling 2 levels still nets you plenty. It's one of the only instances that playing well puts you behind the curve.Īnyway, as a tip for grinding, only ever bother grinding on the last 2 levels of any dungeon. Perhaps you beat Yukiko at a lower level than intended, which makes sense since she is much easier in Golden than she was in the original - people were generally lvl13-15 when they beat Yukiko first time through, and this is where I think a lot of people have problems with Kanji's dungeon. But yeah, the game is designed such that if you fight everything (not including respawns) and fully explore every level of the dungeon (way easier than it sounds) you are in the right ballpark for the final boss of that dungeon.įor a rule of thumb, Kanji's dungeon is easiest beaten at lvl25+, the next one at 35+, then 45+ (you see the pattern here). Hmm - that boss is made much easier if you have a persona which resists physical. Well I'm currently at level 20 so I will probably need to grind up the dungeon again
